I want to say thank you to my Elk River Mayor John Dietz, my city councilmen Garrett Christianson of Ward 1 and the other three council members, Matt Westgaard, Nate Ovall and Jennifer Wagner for voting to pass the resolution presented by Mayor Dietz at last night’s council meeting.
We didn’t shut you down and…it’s not our thumbs up that’s going to allow you to open up.

Our Minnesota State Constitution Spells Out the Rights of Our Citizens
Statute 12.31 That Provides for
Peacetime Emergency by the Governor
Was this Written with the Intent to
Keep Extending the Declaration Every 30 Days?
I don’t believe that this Statute was intended to give a Governor a free hand so as to make the Peacetime Emergency continue on as long as he wishes. Even by his update last week to open some retail businesses at no more than 50% occupancy of their rating, the Governor continues to harm businesses and churches.
